Cap 5-15 mm broad, convex but soon becoming plane with a depressed disc, radially pleated, glabrous, at first ochraceous to tawny, becoming grayish white to gray with a rusty or cinnamon center; flesh very thin, translucent. Gillss free, narrow, remote, attached to a thin collar of tissue at Stem, gray to black. Stem 50-70 x 1-2 mm, equal, fragile, glabrous, white. Spore Deposit black. Edibility: edible but why bother?
