Fruting Body clavate to turbinate, 50-80 mm broad x 80-120 mm tall, basal portion buried in and adhering soil. Peridium thin, dry, brittle, glabrous, yellowish brown. Gleba when young divided into small ovoid chambers (pseudoperidioles), these yellowish white to olivaceous black, becoming powdery at maturity, olivaceous brown to reddish brown. Spores brown. Edibility: not recommended.
