Cap 60-120 mm broad, convex to plano-convex, glabrous, shiny, glutinous, dark brown or olivaceous brown fading to cinnamon brown; flesh thick, soft, yellow-ish white. Tubes 4-10 mm long, yellow becoming olivaceous brown. Pores 1-2 per mm, bright yellow becoming olivaceous brown, not staining blue when bruised. Stem 30-70 x 15-20 mm, cylindrical, glabrous, lacking glandular dots, white to yellow. Spore Deposit olivaceous brown. Edibility: edible with caution.
