Cap 60-100 mm broad, convex to plano-convex, glabrous, shiny, glutinous, brown or pale reddish brown with splotches of creamy brown, fading to cinnamon brown; flesh thick, soft, yellowish white. Tubes 5-10 mm long, yellow becoming olivaceous brown. Pores 1-2 per mm, bright yellow, becoming olivaceous brown, not staining blue when bruised. Stem 40-80 x 8-12 mm, cylindrical, white to yellow and covered with brown glandular dots. Spore Deposit olivaceous brown. Edibility: edible.
